Here's the scenario:
You start an audio file. Your iPhone/iPad falls asleep and blanks and locks the screen. You get interrupted by another device/person.
On my iPhone, I discovered that if I double click the Home button, I get a big audio controller (with pause and volume controls) superimposed on the screen. That means that I can pause the audio with one double click of the Home button and one click of the Pause symbol. (As opposed to clicking the Home button, sliding the slider, then clicking the smaller pause symbol.)
Does this work on an iPad 2? I ask for my mother-in-law, who's old and has a hard time remembering multi-step procedures.
There will be no dues for 2018 until further notice, and all meetings in 2018 will be in Sequim!
