iPad Frozen in Safari

Post by Photo Jeanne » Tue Oct 11, 2011 10:02 am

Here's a good one -- my iPad is frozen (the screen won't respond) when I open Safari. It will load some previous pages, but none of the "buttons" to open a bookmark, or close the existing one, will not work. The screen has a gray cast and you can't move it either. What do I do to fix this? Everything else seems to work.

If I had read other entries in the forum, I would have found my answer. I just did a restart and the problem resolved itself. Thanks, I guess, for posting other people's problems....

I don't have an iPad, but do help my mother in law with hers. She had it freeze once, and a restart solved the problem. The freeze never happened again. In any case, iOS 5 will be out tomorrow and will solve whatever problems caused your freeze. (And maybe introduce others.)
