AirPort Firmware Update

Apple updates AirPort firmware with KRACK vulnerability fix

I found AirPort Utility open when I came home today. I had to update each device separately, though the second AirPort Express may have been faster because the patch had already been downloaded once.

The official demise of Apple's AirPort hardware line:

I'd be interested in hearing experiences with other current systems. We have an AirPort Extreme acting as an ethernet router and the main WiFi point. We have an AirPort Express wired to our stereo via RCA cables to stream music to our living-room stereo. And we have a third AirPort Express in a separate building (my woodworking shop) to supply WiFi within that building.

If these fail, what could I replace them with?
