PowerBook G4 10.5.8 upgrade to Snow Leopard 10.6 ?

Post by georgeandjolie » Sat Jan 18, 2014 9:32 am

Before spending the $20.00 for an upgrade to Snow Leopard OS X 10.6, I'd like to know if this would even be possible with my PowerBook G4 running OS X 10.5.8 ?
BTW, my software is up to date-- I'm talking about an UPGRADE.
Thanks,
George

The PowerBook G4/867 12" (Al) features an 867 MHz PowerPC 7455 (G4) processor

To install Snow Leopard for the first time, you must have a Mac with:

An Intel processor
Bottom line: You can't use Snow Leopard on that machine.
