Flash never made it to iOS, and even Adobe has given up on mobile Flash.
New to Safari 7 in Mavericks, is a built-in Flash blocker.
There have been third-party plugins that block Flash, but many third-party plugins break with every Safari update. This is a better solution.
(BTW, the video is an ad for Pepperdine University.)
