I've seen press saying that Apple has adopted the "large" cell phone format for the iPhone X, and that you can't use it one handed.

This page allows you to compare various models. Just select the second iPhone in the list to figure out what to compare with what. I chose my current iPhone 6s.

iPhone X is 0.21 inches taller (less than a quarter inch) and 0.15 inches wider (a bit more than an eighth of an inch). For that you get 5.8-inch (diagonal) vs. 4.7-inch (diagonal) viewable display.

Something curiously left out of the list Ray posted:
wide-angle and telephoto cameras
That means real optical zoom!

Here's a Forbes Magazine comparison of iPhone X vs. iPhone 8. Seems reasonably accurate from what I've read elsewhere.

But only 2x. Still, that might make the difference between your iPhone photo of Sasquatch being prize winning vs. dismissible.
