Before you vote on this informal poll, you may wish a few facts and figures.

This year, out of 209 members (after the roster was pruned), we had 81 paying the $12 dues. The year before, 99 paid the $24 dues (some were of course discounted if you paid early).

Historical Paid Membership Numbers:

2009 45
2010 77
2011 106
2012 135
2013 136
2014 125 (-9%)
2015 100 (-25%)
2016 81 (-19%)

Treasury Balances
2015
Starting Balance: $2114.31
Ending Balance: $2795.04 (increase of $680.73)
High Balance: $3678.51 April 1)

2016
Starting Balance: $2795.04
Ending Balance: $2497.97 (decrease of $297.07) (estimated; based on current balance of $2621.97)
High Balance: $3124.52 (Feb 9)

Note that our high balance for 2016 is $554 less than in 2016, due most likely to the lower dues amount.

This assumes the numbers I was given are accurate. The take-away is that the SMUG members that pay dues have been declining for some time, and it is reflected in the Treasury balance. Dues are paid on an "honor" system, so when combined with reduced dues, the treasury does tend to go down.

Ah. I think I remember that fact from the past:
Checks made out to SMUG can be brought to any meeting, or mailed to:

The very first post. Maybe the SMUG Forum requires an approved browser, like Microsoft Edge!

Once a member has voted, the voting options are no longer viewable ... only the current vote totals are viewable.

Also, the 30 day window for voting may have closed.

If any club member wants another poll, it is easy to create, as shown in the first post.

As of now, it looks like a tie ... like Florida.
