I just purchased a new iMac. Have never used an Apple product up until now.
So far very frustrating. I have an HP Photosmart 7525 and cannot seem to add it to the computer. How can I find out if there is a compatibility problem or am I not doing something correctly. Thanks,

Re: Printer compatibility
In OS X, any recent version, you should go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Printers & Scanners. I your printer is plugged in, it should show up there.
If you're trying to set up a WiFi printer, you might need to connect it by way of USB or Ethernet first to set it up.
