I used to do this all the time - but for some reason I can't find the right button today. Can anyone help? It seems crazy that they would eliminate this - I don't want to read the title backwards! It's not in iPhoto either.
Apparently horizontal flip is the only thing you can do. It's in the Edit menu:
I've never used PhotoBooth, and it seems strange not to have the standard rotate and flip controls. I guess you're expected to export the photo and use something like iPhoto.Edit a photo
Flip a photo: Select a photo, then choose Edit > Flip Photo.
Automatically flip new photos and videos: Choose Edit > Auto Flip New Items.
Save a photo without effects: Select the photo, then choose File > Export Original.
