iPads do not bounce well

Post by Chuck Howerton » Fri Oct 10, 2014 4:08 pm

I dropped my iPad2 today and have screen cracks radiating from the top right hand corner.

Question 1: is it worth fixing? I mean what is the cost-benefit analysis.

Question 2: How do I do what Ray Bentsen does and order one of the new iPads that are supposedly being announced next week and what will they cost compared with the iPad Air?

Question 3: Do you know of anyone who is interested in selling an iPad?

Thanks,

Chuck Howerton

As to the first question, I wouldn't invest a nickel in an iPad2.

As to the second question, if Apple announces the iPad Air2 next week it'll also announce a date to preorder. Be up at 12:01AM on that date and put in your order. If things go as they have, the prices won't go up but you'll get more iPad with a new version.

And now for the third question. I can make you a heck of a deal on an iPad4 which was the version just before the iPad Air. Drop me a line at rserkes@mac.com and I'll get down to particulars in private.
