Where'd it go?

What happened to the OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard discussions? There used to be a separate discussion listing for the OS X related issues.

We decided to remove the sub-forums dedicated to specific versions of the Mac OS. Most of those questions could have been posted in the General Discussion area. This makes for a cleaner looking forum.

If there's a ground swell to return them then we can do so at a later date.

I think the idea of having a separate forum for a new system version makes sense when that system first comes out and we all need to deal with it. There gets to be a point where those topics just needed to get folded into General Discussion. I guess we've done this in an ad hoc way.... guess we'll add one again when Lion comes out...

I agree that creating a sub-forum for Lion makes a lot of sense. The new GUI will incorporate a lot of features from iOS4 as well as other major changes as to how programs will load and display. And then there are the new features not currently in 10.6.x.

When Lion is released later this summer we can create a sub-forum dedicated to Lion issues.
