I'd also like to note that someone asked about the time involved in the initial upload of personal data to companies that store such data on their servers. That depends on how much data is to be uploaded, your connection speed, time-of-day limitations from your ISP, and the speed of the receiving server. I just read a review of Dolly Drive that says they'll send you a portable hard drive which you use for the initial backup. That portable drive is then returned to Dolly Drive and they transfer your data to their server. After that the incremental uploads are done via the I'Net but since very little subsequent data would be uploaded the time involved should be minimal.

Here is a response from Dolly Drive to that review in which the Dolly Drive representative explains this service.
