Popup Ads In Safari

In just the last month I've been getting popup ads on my iPad while in Safari. The same company is hosting these ads. It's Vdopia or something like that.

Safari's popup blocker is ON.

Is anyone else having this problem?

A workaround might be to turn off Javascript as some of those popups use java. iPad Settings/Safari/Javascript. Not the best solution cuz you'll need java on some sites. You might try another web browser, check out iCab mobile. Unrelated but I used iCab on a Peninsula College website, Angel at PC, that wouldn't work in Safari.

I've been keeping tabs on this and it only happens in the Cult of Mac website. I wonder if they sold their souls to advertisers for some lucre.
