Calculator for iPad

So a while back, y'all recommended The Weather Channel for iPad as a replacement on the iPad for the stock weather app on iPhone.

Now I'm asking for a free (ad free) replacement for the elegant calculator app that's stock on an iPhone. The iPhone app is the best simple calculator of any kind I've ever had. And you just turn it sideways to turn it into a scientific calculator.

I use PCalc Lite all the time.

And, of course, Google is your friend (not really, but it's useful).
There are several articles on replacements for iPhone standard apps that are missing from the iPad. Here's one:

Another calculator app that I use is CalcBot, which is Universal, upgraded for retina display, and has "paper tape".

I can't remember if it was free, or not. (It has always bothered me that once an app purchase has been made, you can't tell its cost in the iTunes Store.)
Calcbot is a simple, yet intelligent calculator for your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad (Universal). Never lose your place in a calculation again with the live as-you-type expression view. Simply swipe the keypad to the left to reveal advanced functions. See your past calculations in the history tape. You can even send old values and expressions back to your calculator or to a friend via email. Calcbot is the smartest, simple calculator you will ever use.

I bought Calculator Pro, from Apalon, then quickly paid the $0.99 to ban ads.
It's too bad that when you upgrade an app in this way, it doesn't replace the "free" version, so you have to fiddle to delete that one.
