Photo apps for iPhone

So I mentioned in a different thread a few apps that I've found add photo functions to the iPhone: Gorillacam, PS Express and Pano. And, now that I think about it, Sketchbook Mobile is also great for adding circles and arrows to photos.

Here's a superquickanddirty example of what pano does.

For each "next shot," Pano shows you a slice from the right of the last shot as an overlay. If there's any detail there, you can align the shots better than just guessing. A minute or so of processing and you're done. This was shot inside my office on a whim, with no serious attempt to get everything right.

Stephen, don't know if you noticed this, but if you click in the panorama photo you have (above) and then hold down the mouse and drag outside of the picture, you see thumbnails of the four or five frames incorporated into the big picture. Pretty cool software.

You mean within the browser? I'm using Safari and all I get when I click and drag is a thumbnail of the pano. :?:

Weird. See the attached movie. I see the same thing (just a small version of the pano) in Firefox 4 as well, though the Firefox thumbnail is bigger.

Here's another photo app that might be interesting. It allows you to write type notes on photos.

Here's another inexpensive photo app that adds a bunch of features to an iPhone:

And note that Gorillacam, which I mentioned above, has been replaced by Frame X Frame. Same company, similar features.

BTW, here's a much prettier image from Pano for iPhone.
