IPhone Photography: Depth

Post by Stephen Hart » Sun Oct 08, 2017 11:47 am

Here's a pair of articles about how Apple's using depth, as in depth of field, and 3D mapping in photography.
The first article makes clear that when you take an iPhone photo, you're not using a camera stuck onto a cell phone, but using a computer with a lens, or as the article puts it, a machine eye.
The second article goes deeper into how Apple's processors stack up against the competition.
