iPhone as Magnifying Glass

Post by Stephen Hart » Sat May 20, 2017 8:08 am

Here's a tip from the New York Times tech section, on how to use Accessibility in iOS to turn your iPhone into a magnifying glass:

Use Your Phone as a Digital Magnifying Glass

I've been using a small app for that, called Lumin.

As is often the case, the built-in capability is great, but a bit fussy. The app is extremely simple to use. And you can save the closeup if you want to.

A newer thread with more on Magnifier:
"Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works."
