Back before the Tech Fair, we discussed QR codes.

Here's another use: watermark photos, right on your iPhone, with QR codes. Of course, you can also use any other, more old-school watermark.

From Macintouch:
QRBeam 1.3 from Information Appliances generates QR codes (2D barcodes often used for links and contact information). It can accept contact info by drag-and-drop from Address Book, supports international characters, and exports the generated QR codes as BMP, GIF, JPG, PNG, TIFF, PDF, and EPS. This release adds an Options panel for specifying code size and color and eases the creation of QR codes with embedded SMS. QRBeam is $1.99 for Mac OS X 10.6 and is only available in the Mac App Store.
In case you want to make QR codes on your Mac, presumably for use elsewhere.

And here's another Mac QR Code generator and reader, using your iSight camera. It's $2.99.

Yet another use for QR codes:

"Edible QR Codes Make Sustainable Sushi Fun and Convenient" (Because, without the code, sushi is definitely not convenient. <g>)
