iPhone Cases

Post by Stephen Hart » Sun Dec 02, 2018 4:02 pm

I've never used a case for my iPhone, as I keep it in my jeans pocket almost all of the time.

But I was intrigued enough when I read about the MNML Case iPhone Xs (Clear Transparent) to order one. It's only $15, so I figured I didn't have much to lose.

The case is indeed minimal. It has no designs or logos. It's thin enough to work in my pocket and a pretty tight fitting leather holder in my car.
It has slightly raised edges around the camera and face, and would probably protect the iPhone somewhat in a mild drop. And it feels good in the hand. It probably protects against accidental button pushes too.

It's not quite as invisible as the article I read implied because the reflection of the back isn't the same as the glass back of my iPhone XS, but it's not too noticeable. It's a good idea to clean the back of the iPhone very carefully before putting the case on, as it accentuates fingerprints, cat hairs, etc.

My plan is to try living with it for a while.

BTW, I expect you could easily add some decoration by putting a piece of paper between the case and the back of the iPhone, holiday wrapping paper, for example.
