A Whole Slew of Updates

Post by Stephen Hart » Tue Jun 12, 2012 2:44 pm

Apple has release a slew of updates coordinated with their new hardware introductions. In addition, there are some important security updates (one related to the Flashback trojan).
Some are huge, for example iMovie, which is more than a gigabyte. I suggest starting this process at night.

If you're using both Aperture and iPhoto, they have a unified library now. But that also means you should make sure you have an iron-clad backup before you run either update.

Maybe it's just a timing issue, but I think some of the updates require previous ones to be installed. To be sure, run Software Update again a second time.
