I created a playlist in iTunes for a slideshow in iPhoto. However, the playlist does not appear when I click on Music Settings. I may not be importing the music correctly into iTunes. Does anyone have any experience with this? I have a MacBook Pro Mac OSX 10.6.8. Thanks, Liisa

Re: slideshow music
See if this solves the problem. The issue is the same in iPhoto and Aperture. The default view is to show all of iTunes files in a list. You can't actually get that view in iTunes itself.
But if you click on the little dropdown which will show "iTunes," you can choose from the list of playlists. That's what you'd see in the sidebar of iTunes.
The image shows the Music Settings dialog box before (left) and after (right) clicking the dropdown.
