Default Account For Mail

I have several email accounts I use within Mail (v10.3). In the past I've gone into Preferences and selected one as my default outgoing account. What I mean by that is whenever I would compose a new message the default account was used. If I wanted to use a different account I would manually change from the default to the other account.

All of a sudden one of the other accounts has become the default and it's definitely NOT the one I want to use on a daily basis. I've gone into Preferences to make sure the account I want as my default is my default but I can't find the setting anywhere. I'm sure it's there but I just can't seem to see it.

So where in Mail/Preferences do you set the default account for outing mail?

Ray, if it would have been a snake it would have bit me. How could I NOT see that? Anyway, I've made the change and thanks for the help. But another mystery is how did it get changed from the account I wanted to "...best account?" I sure as heck didn't change it.

Interesting. If you leave Send new messages from: Automatically select best account and then click on the mail inbox for any one of your accounts it will automatically use that account to send a new email. If you choose to Send messages from a specific account it will send from that account only. I wonder if it will automatically send from a different account if that account is offline?
