Photoshop CC 2014 and Retina iMac screenshots

Post by Stephen Hart » Sun Mar 29, 2015 4:11 pm

I believe I mentioned in the past that I couldn't figure out any way to get Photoshop CS 6 to behave as it used to with Save for Web and screenshots on my 5K retina iMac. Briefly, in the main Photoshop window would look normal, but the Save for Web view would be double sized. I'd have to shrink the image to 50% to use in for posting, for example, to the SMUG forum.

I recently bit the bullet (of doom?) and upgraded to a Creative Cloud subscription. After a number of download hassles, I now am using Photoshop CC 2014 (and several other of the CC apps).

Photoshop CC 2014 does not have the problem described above. What you see in the main window is what you see in Save for Web.
