iTunes Playlists

Post by Photo Jeanne » Tue Nov 18, 2014 4:01 pm

I have created several new playlists in iTunes 12.0. Why can't I get them on my new phone? There doesn't seem to be anyplace in iTunes where I can tell it to download all of the songs in my library, or add a new playlist. I tried to do it 'in phone,' but that wasn't successful either. What am I doing wrong? :x

I suggest you go to Apples' support and also the discussion group for iPhone. I am sure you will learn how to do this , as Apple makes this type of move easy.

Jeanne,

Since we don't know exactly what you have done, it is difficult to tell what you have done wrong.

Have you told iTunes to sync your entire Music library with your iPhone, as shown in the following screenshot?

Assuming you don't have iTunes Match, check this sequence out:

Click on the Devices tab in itunes 12

Choose your iPhone

Then look at Ray's post and click Music. You'll be able to choose which music to sync. You can choose one or more playlists or All Music (if you have room on your iPhone).
