Sierra and Aperture

It looks as if Aperture will continue to work in macOS Sierra. Good news for Aperture diehards. I'm less that than a bit too lazy to convert to Photos. I'll probably do that eventually.

A comment about the third macOS Sierra beta from AppleInsider: "Flaws found in first party apps like Aperture, Mail, Notes, Photos and Safari were also fixed."

So things still look pretty good for Aperture users.

Now that I have installed Sierra, I can say that Aperture seems to behave exactly as it did in El Capitan.

That is to say everything works. There's one visual glitch: when you quit Aperture, a dropdown "sheet" tells you it's updating the library. In El Capitan and Sierra, the sheet shows no text or background. There may be other issues that I haven't run into.
