Here's a weird one:
Find My Friends and Podcasts both show up as updates in iTunes. I've updated both many times.
But when I click update all apps this afternoon, I see this message:
Of course, when I try to follow the instructions, and look in App Store on my iPhone, neither app can be found. That's because they're fundamental apps of the OS.
BTW, I did check another Mac and saw the same thing.
Anyone else see this?
I suspect it's because they were both just updated today after WWDC 2016, and that tincture of time will solve the problem.

Here's a hint or two I found on the web, FWIW:
The Telegraph:
Eagle-eyed Apple watchers have noticed that the App Store now contains many of the apps that have been hanging around a little too long on your iPhone, including Podcasts, Maps, Tips and Calculator.
...Find Friends, we hardly knew ye.

This just seems to be a glitch. There are some mentions in Apple Support Communities as well.

Re: Odd behavior for app updates in iTunes
I just deleted the apps in iTunes. The apps on my iPhone and iPads were not affected.
