Mail Autocomplete

Post by Stephen Hart » Wed Nov 04, 2015 10:48 am

There's a change in Mail that has almost caused me grief.

I can't remember what used to happen, but in El Capitan, the autocomplete for a To: address (for example) will fill in the top guess, and show a dropdown with several alternatives. So far so good. But if you accidentally move the mouse down, you can replace the address with another address. You may have already looked away and not notice this.

Sending an e-mail to the wrong person by accident could spoil your whole day.
