Ray, I really appreciate the idea of a built in split screen ability. I use Scrivener, a writing app, that boasts this ability. Extremely useful for me.

But, I am going to wait on upgrading until the tide of El Capitan complaints slackens at the App Store.

Did you have some specific concerns?

At the App Store over half of the El Capitan ratings are one star — most recent release. Maybe, the complaints do not effect me. Example, I do not use Outlook or Apple photo applications. However, I rather spend my time on my MAMP install and writing posts. I do not want to fuss with operating system glitches.

I will upgrade, however.

Thanks for the response. Next time, I will check sooner.

June 2 added— Finally installed El Capitan. Overall it is working well. Had to restart to get my Logitech mouse and keyboard working properly... no big deal.

My Fitbit dongle is not working properly. Found some posts back in September complaining about this problem. Have not done a thorough search but I have found a workaround. The real fix may be out there. After 9 months my hope is Apple or Fitbit ....
