Lost Folders/Albums In Photos

Post by Richard Serkes » Wed Apr 08, 2015 3:23 pm

After upgrading to OS 10.10.3 I opened Photos which now takes the place of iPhoto. I was shocked and frustrated. I'm anal retentive and must have a place for everything and everything in its place. My intuitive folders/albums structure was gone. Gone! How was I supposed to find anything? How could Apple call this an upgrade?

But after calming down I tried looking in Preferences to find my structure but it wasn't there. Then I went to View and noticed Show Sidebar, which wasn't checked. I checked it and voila there are all my folders and albums.

I just wish Apple hadn't made the default OFF.

I had the same experience.
I'm still far from used to Photos, so I'm happy that Aperture is still functional.
