Calendar and Contacts Leather --> Aluminum

Back in Lion, there were a couple of ways to change the look of iCal and Address Book back to their plainer, Aluminum color theme.

A developer has now done the same for Mountain Lion. You will have to set Gatekeeper to allow all applications to run these installers. Be sure to return it to a stricter setting when you're done.

Follow the instructions to make a copy of Calendar and Contacts (option drag the apps to the Desktop, put them in a folder with a logical name, compress the folder and store it somewhere safe).

I have run both scripts on two four Macs with no ill effects. I make no other safety claim.
