Sidebar Icons One Size Fits All

Post by Richard Serkes » Thu Aug 09, 2012 6:52 pm

In Lion you could change the size of Finder's sidebar icons. The three choices were small, medium, and large. In Mountain Lion this option is gone. You better like small because that's all you can have. I wonder why Apple took away this nice feature. With my old eyes I liked the Large setting.

With a little Googling, I found the instructions for Lion. (Hat tip to Ray.)

System Preferences > General > Sidebar icon size:

Those instructions still work in Mountain Lion. See image:

I looked there more than once but didn't see it. As soon as Medicare kicks in I'm going in for a complete overhaul.
