Re: .PLST File For Mail

My Mail program is acting stupid again and I'd like to delete the .plst file and start over with setting the Preferences. But I'll be darned if I can find the .plst file for Mail. Does anyone know what folder it's in? I'm using OS 10.11.3. Try username/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail/Data/Library...

Re: locked iPad

Try leaving it plugged in for several hours to make sure the battery is charged. Then do a hard boot. That consists of SIMULTANEOUSLY holding down the home button and the on/off button until the Apple logo appears. if this doesn't do the trick you may have a brick that needs to go to an Apple Store ...

Re: Mail.app Won't Stay Default

Things may work out after all. I still would like to get Mail/Preferences to do what I want it to do but my main problem with Airmail has been resolved. I really didn't like the way it handled threaded discussions. Previous comments were buried and hard to sort out. But in Airmail/Preferences I foun...

Re: Mail.app Won't Stay Default

Did you see this page: http://support.airmailapp.com/post/95590687273/setting-airmail-as-the-default-email-client Maybe you have to uncheck the box in Airmail, or use the Terminal command. Yeah, I saw that. Since I use Yosemite the option in Airmail is grayed out. Changes are made from within Mail....

Mail.app Won't Stay Default

I've been playing with another email client, Airmail 2 which I like but not as well as good old Apple Mail. When I went back to Mail I tried to set it as my default email client but it won't stay as the default. It keeps changing to the newer program, Airmail. I've looked high and low in Airmail's p...

Re: Can't Partition New Portable HD

Darn, I didn't see those. But even with the plastic case it's still $50+ more than the Western Digital I just bought.

Re: Can't Partition New Portable HD

The 1TB drive that's being replaced is a OWC and has worked flawlessly for several years but I need a portable drive and OWC really doesn't make those other than some really pricey SSDs. The biggest they have is 1TB and it runs $499.99.

Re: Can't Partition New Portable HD

Never Mind! This new drive came with all kinds of Windows software preloaded. I thought the reformatting would take care of it all but maybe not because I just ran several TechTool Pro utilities on it and TTP found all kinds of problems after I had done the reformat. After TTP did its thing the Part...
