Like I said earlier it doesn't sound like a driver issue. Just to satisfy my curiosity there is nothing in your print queue is there and printing isn't stopped? What model printer is it and are you printing through IP? Is the IP address of the printer static and what IP address did you ping?

PC prints through airport, Mac won't but prints wired...sounds like printer drivers are installed correctly for your OS. Something with how the Mac sends print data to the Airport... So it works when connected directly but won't work over the network via wireless? Shut down everything including DSL/Cable/wireless boxes/computer/printer. Are you printing through wifi or a direct connection?
As a simple first step in troubleshooting the issue delete your printer from Print and Fax System Preferences and reinstall.

Next time you plug the camera in give this a try. Plug it in to the original USB port that didn't work and see what happens. I'm betting there was a temporary issue.

If your G5 iMac fails to startup this is likely the cause. Leaking capacitors. Red arrows point to capacitor failure. Cost to repair this is around $800 as a local Mac user found much to her unhappiness.
