Re: Sample Post

BTW, I still don't see the QuickTime video in Firefox 3.x. It does act slightly differently from Safari, though. In Firefox, the QuickTime link pops me to the top of the page. In Safari on my iMac, it does nothing. In Safari on my iPhone, the link also just pops me to the top of the page. Restarting...

Re: Sample Post

I'm still not getting any video showing for the QuickTime links. So for Jay's video with no sound, I get nothing. For Ray's video with sound, I only get audio, no controller, no video. The only extension I have is Shortly. Just as a bit of information, if I highlight the QuickTime movie links, the s...

Re: Log in Automatically?

And, just as a followup, it appears the the Delete button is only available for me on my most recent post, even if the post before was a few seconds ago.

Re: Log in Automatically?

Aha! I'm not as far gone as I thought.

I see a Delete button only on just-submitted posts. Looking back at past posts--and by "past" I mean one day old--I do not see a Delete button.

Why Does The DELETE Button Disappear?

How do you DELETE a post? I thought we can now do this? Take off those shades and open your eyes. I'm sure I've never seen that many buttons. You must be special! For example, an admin. Here's what I see today, though as I wrote above, I think I remember a delete button in the last couple of days.

Well, I suppose there might be security considerations I haven't thought of, but how about the maximum time allowed?

Re: Log in Automatically?

When I first checked the forum this morning, I had to log in again, but now I'm staying logged in. I may have caused that by trying out being logged in on both the iPhone and the iMac.

I could have sworn I saw a delete key on my posts yesterday, but I don't now.

Forum Feature Requests

One thing I'd like is the addition of a strikeout BBCode button. I know this is possible, because I invoked it when I had a phpBB forum set up.
