Re: screen lockup with Sierra

I know that i had to update my Logitech Control Center to v3.9.4 after installing Sierra. I had lockups and some spontaneous display sleeping after first installing Sierra, but after the Logitech update I now have no issues. And, yes I have two of these devices ... so that I always have one fully ch...

Re: Sierra Installation

And, of course, another noticeable difference is having Siri available. (using a small icon in the Finder menu bar)

Here is a link to an Apple video on what else is new in Sierra: http://help.apple.com/macOS/Sierra/WN/? ... S#/siri-WN

Sierra Installation

Install went fine on my iMac 5K, and all of my frequently used apps work without any problem.

I did have to manually upgrade my Pages, Numbers, and Keynote apps though.

The most noticeable difference so far is the new Mac Photos app, which is very similar to the iOS10 Photos app.

Re: iOS 10 - Available Now

And if you do swipe right from the lock screen, you will see the Lock Screen Widgets (that you can configure) - see screenshot. Swiping left from the Lock Screen now opens the Camera app. Very handy!! Swiping down from the top is still Notifications, and swiping up from the bottom is still Control C...

Re: iOS 10 - Available Now

Bob,

This is the new Lock Screen in iOS10 (see screenshot).

If you are requiring a pass code to unlock, it will appear on the next screen. If not, you go right to the Home screen.
