Re: Photo Stream

If it's like an album that implies that I have full control over what is synced from my iMac to my iPhone, correct? So it's like picking an album to sync in iTunes. The screen I saw seemed to indicate that all photos from the last 30 days would be synced to my iPhone. Maybe I misread that, though I...

Re: Migration from MobileMe to iCloud

Also, it's not exactly clear to me how PhotoStream works. I'd like to sync my iPhone with my iMac, maybe.* But I certainly don't want a month's worth of photos from Aperture uploaded. That'd be hundreds of photos in some months, almost all not things I would want to look at on my iPhone. So do I ge...

Photo Stream

Photo Stream can be thought of as a temporary cloud-based "album" that is kept in sync across multiple Macs, PCs, and iOS 5 iThings (via Wi-Fi or Ethernet) ... as long as they are all linked to the same iCloud account. To use Photo Stream on a Mac, you first have to upgrade to OS X 10.7.2 ... and fo...

Migration from MobileMe to iCloud

Once you have updated your Mac to OS X 10.7.2 and restart, MobileMe subscribers are presented with the option of migrating to iCloud (see screenshot). The process worked fine for me, and with my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 upgraded to iOS 5, iCloud is now automatically syncing those devices with my Mac ... ...

Re: MacKeeper

I have been using MacKeeper for several months now without any problem. All of the functions seem to work as advertised, are easy to use, and are well explained. The primary reason buying it was for the anti-virus protection ... one of many tasks that is provided by MacKeeper. (see screenshot) It is...

Re: Switching to iCloud--Any Downside?

It is pretty hard to know about actual downsides, since iCloud will still not be offically released for another week (October 12). The only currently known downsides are the lack of support for iWeb website publishing and what we have come to know as iDisk. After next week, much more will be known a...

Re: Bento Name Tags

Have you tried using the DesignPro Help Menu? From its main menu, choose Help Contents > Merge Data > Mail Merge You should then see a screen like the one in the first screenshot below. Basically all you have to do is select a field, like the name field, click the Mail Merge button, Browse to find y...

Re: Bento Name Tags

Richard is correct. Avery DesignPro is a FREE download from here . There are a variety of editable Name Badge templates to select from. (see first screenshot) Mail merge can then be done using data from Address Book, Mail, or from an exported .csv (Comma Separated Values) file ... like from Numbers....

Re: iTunes U Syncing?

So what do your iTunesU settings look like?

The default setting is to only load items that are unplayed. (see screenshot)

Unless you have changed that setting, played items will be removed whenever you sync.
