Re: Safari (?) problem

Been using Firefox for 3 days now, and I like the speed (as mentioned by others in the Firefox thread.) But I'm finding the same issue. So far, only when I'm on my MIniClip game. First, there's a "glitch" in the game which hangs it up (both for my and my opponent.) I have to exit MiniClip, and then ...

Re: Safari (?) problem

Here's the current status: I reset Safari, and the situation seemed to improve. But the problem still existed when I played my favorite MiniClip game, so I assumed a Flash conflict of some sort. Today, I downloaded Firefox and updated the Flash plug-in for it. We'll see what happens. Of course, now ...

Re: Safari (?) problem

When I reset Safari, do I need to have all of the items ("Clear history", "Reset top sites", etc.) checked?

Re: Safari (?) problem

What is my internet connection? I know there should be an easy answer to this question. My ISP is Olypen, and I bought my cable modem from them about a year ago. But I think that somehow, Wave cable is involved, too, since it's a cable modem (not DSL) and we have Wave digital cable service for our T...

Safari (?) problem

For some time now, I've been having an intermittent problem getting pages to load using Safari. I'll click on a link, either from a bookmark or from a page I'm already viewing, to go to another location. The blue address bar at the top of the screen will progress about 1/4 of the way across and then...

Does anyone know how to view closed captions (intended for hearing impaired viewers) when viewing commercially produced DVDs on a Mac?

E-mail photo attachments

Recently, I've sent several press releases, with attached photos, to our local newspapers. The text was received, but the pictures were not. I was told that the photos needed to be attached, not imbedded, and needed to be .jpeg format. Whenever I attach photos to an email, they are .jpegs and always ...

Re: Bento Name Tags

Thanks so much, Ray. I'm making progress, and am starting to think I'll be able to master this project. A few formatting challenges right now, but I'm figuring it out.

Stay tuned .....

Re: Bento Name Tags

I continue to struggle with this project for an event next Saturday. Since I only have Bento v1, I'm not able to use the enhanced printing suggestions. I reviewed Stephen's suggestion about populating a Pages template, and read the info in that link, but it relates to Pages 09, and I'm using Pages 0...

What's the best way to use a Bento library to print name tags for participants attending an event?
