Can I UNSAVE a password?

I inadvertently clicked on "save" for a password I have purposefully avoided saving to my computer.

Now of course it is saved.

Can I unsave it? How? From where?

Re: Important Security Update

Thanks, Stephen,

I do have preferences set to install system data files and security updates.
So, I am setting panic aside!

Re: Important Security Update

Stephen, I wonder if this is the same as the item which was automatically installed on Erv's computer right around Dec 23rd. The notice below appeared on his desktop. My second illustration shows the explanation which Erv discovered (with Jerry's help, I believe). No similar notice appeared on my iM...

Re: New Numbers - where is sheet inspector?

Hi Stephen, I understand the need for consistent format for OSX and iOS. Only in my case I don't use either Pages or Numbers in iOS and so do not need the newer version. However, I was afraid if I don't update and use the new, the old will eventually become obsolete, but I guess I can always update ...

Re: New Numbers - where is sheet inspector?

Thanks, Stephen No, I had not looked at print dialog - I was used to being able to determine page orientation and see print page view prior to ever wanting to print. I will check it out. And, yes, I do know that thank goodness the old Numbers still works! I just thought I'd try to get up-to-date, bu...

New Numbers - where is sheet inspector?

I went ahead to experiment with opening a document in new numbers - as a cautious test to see what issues might arise - actually hoping for none. However, what used to be a well-known and simple thing, namely changing the page layout in the sheet inspector is now a mystery. How to? I show sheet insp...

Re: New Pages

Thanks, Ray, for a good show of where to locate styles and for your other encouraging comments. Pretty soon I will take the time to experiment with this and get used to the changes. Then I'll see what happens working on a complex document. 8-) I had to get used to the Inspector icon, so I guess I ca...

Re: New Pages

Thanks, Stephen for your most recent post in this thread. I am glad to have my gut feeling confirmed that for now I am best served staying with Pages '09. Can always change later. Thanks also to you, Stephen and to Ray and Richard for reinforcing the idea of guarding documents in progress by a combi...

Re: New Pages

Okay, I started a little bit to test complex document in Pages '11. Immediately ran into a major obstacle: Where in Pages '11 is my whole wonderful styles drawer? Right now I have half a mind to forget about Pages '11 and expect that they will improve it anyway after a bit. I function so comfo...

Re: New Pages

Personally, I just Upgrade all of my old Pages documents, and in that way they will be compatible with Pages on my iPad. I have found no negative consequences so far. ;) Ray, have you tried a "complex" document (let's say: 20 pages or more with graphics and TOC and footnotes) created in Pages '09 a...
