New Numbers - where is sheet inspector?

I went ahead to experiment with opening a document in new numbers - as a cautious test to see what issues might arise - actually hoping for none. However, what used to be a well-known and simple thing, namely changing the page layout in the sheet inspector is now a mystery. How to? I show sheet insp...

Re: New Pages

Thanks, Ray, for a good show of where to locate styles and for your other encouraging comments. Pretty soon I will take the time to experiment with this and get used to the changes. Then I'll see what happens working on a complex document. 8-) I had to get used to the Inspector icon, so I guess I ca...

Re: New Pages

Thanks, Stephen for your most recent post in this thread. I am glad to have my gut feeling confirmed that for now I am best served staying with Pages '09. Can always change later. Thanks also to you, Stephen and to Ray and Richard for reinforcing the idea of guarding documents in progress by a combi...

Re: New Pages

Okay, I started a little bit to test complex document in Pages '11. Immediately ran into a major obstacle: Where in Pages '11 is my whole wonderful styles drawer? Right now I have half a mind to forget about Pages '11 and expect that they will improve it anyway after a bit. I function so comfo...

Re: New Pages

Personally, I just Upgrade all of my old Pages documents, and in that way they will be compatible with Pages on my iPad. I have found no negative consequences so far. ;) Ray, have you tried a "complex" document (let's say: 20 pages or more with graphics and TOC and footnotes) created in Pages '09 a...

Re: New Pages

Very, very useful information from both of you, Stephen and Ray!

I now dare proceed with the upgrade after all. (And I will keep Pages '09 on hand for old stuff.)

Thank you.

Re: New Pages

The other weird thing was that inserted images scrolled off the "page" I was editing above the image and disappeared. Because of this comment by Stephen and also because of the comment in the following post regarding not deleting the old iWork 09 folder, I am reluctant to update my Pages from 4.3 t...

Thank you, Stephen,

I decided that I was most comfortable with DENY.

Should I grant access?

After install of Mavericks I woke up to this little message and I have no idea whether to deny or open system prefs.

Re: Problem with Java

Thank you, Richard for this little comment on the browser OPERA.

I have never used it before so will have to see what happens when I download it and visit the archive again.
