Re: Appleworks Spreadsheet altered

Richard, Thank you for this response, commenting both on my current issue and future expected consequences of having Appleworks files. I was already aware that Rosetta will be dropped and Appleworks useless, but really appreciate you mentioning it. I am slowly converting stuff. It is timeconsuming. ...

Re: Printer's ink supply levels - "Not Available"

Appleworks Spreadsheet altered

I have concluded that some Snow Leopard update has caused part of my Appleworks Spreadsheet program to not function: I can no longer get it to display row and column headings . This of course serves to encourage me to work at converting Appleworks spreadsheets to "Numbers", but as long as they are n...

Printer's ink supply levels - "Not Available"

I used to be able to see what ink supply levels were for my printer. Now all I get ever is "Information not available". This is whether or not printer is in use. No difference. Information just not available... It was kind of nice when I could check on ink levels. All I can think of is that perhaps ...

Re: Camera/Computer Cannot communicate

All fixed... :D I sat down fully prepared to try any number of suggestions one after the other. I was armed with Forum responses and with my new "iPhoto '11 Missing Manual" by David Pogue. Camera/Computer Cannot communicate

I went to download my first little batch of pictures since I got my new computer.
Surprise: Camera cannot seem to communicate with computer.
No camera icon shows up. No offer of downloading to iPhoto the way I was used to.

What do I do?

Safari's arrow for previous page - disappeared

My Safari used to have an arrow to use to for navigating to previous page. It has suddenly disappeared and I have no idea why. I checked with Erv and his looks "normal" so I got him to send me a screen shot for me to attach to this post. I am attaching Erv's Safari w/ available arrows and mine witho...
