Re: iCal - is it easy to share with spouse?

Yes, Richard, I know there is a much easier way - but we haven't reached Lion yet! Still, I'm glad to know about the free iCloud account. In the meantime I'm still converting Appleworks documents to .pages and .numbers!

Therefore your poky method is just right for us - for now!

Re: iCal - is it easy to share with spouse?

Thank you very much, Richard and Stephen, both, for responding to my question. Very funny, Richard - re sharing... :geek: Back to serious: I understand responses from both of you (except for details about "programs" I haven't used and will not soon use, probably. Our calendar needs are modest ...

iCal - is it easy to share with spouse?

I looked a bit in iCal Help, but that didn't make me any wiser. I have all our appmts on iCal on my computer. I have been printing out copies for Erv with selected calendars included so he'd have hard copies of what he needed. Now I am thinking that it would be nice to "export" these calendars direc...

Puzzle over Tags in Quicken Essentials

Moving right along with learning and using Quicken Essentials. Discovering a few "quirks" along the way. I will address them later as they become either more clear or more bothersome... However, I would like right now to become clear on behavior of "Tags". I just set up a couple of them and added th...

Minor puzzle in Numbers

In Numbers Application: I cannot figure out why in one cell my total calculation shows up with a comma to separate the thousands decimal from the hundreds decimal - in the cell just below it a calculation shows up without the comma, and the figures look very different to the eye because of the way t...

Re: HELP! How manually enter acct starting balance?

Thank you, Stephen, I have bookmarked the web address you gave. I appreciate your input and I plug on - discovering now just what I best name categories for my own easy reading of same in various kinds of reports. Choosing to consider this an interesting little endeavor to precede my being able to w...

HELP! How manually enter acct starting balance?

I am learning how to best use Quicken Essential s and deciding what I want to change about my previous Quicken organization before I start up for real. I have successfully converted a 3-year Quicken 2006 datafile to a Quicken Essentials file. I didn't especially like the way it worked with my subcat...
