Thanks Ray. That works. I never found that procedure in any of the instruction manuals or in Apple Help.
In all cases it just said, "Drag a file from a folder".

I am trying to drag a picture/object from the finder into a numbers spreadsheet and it goes into a cell and I can't do anything with it. All of the manuals/instructions, I have read, say that I can drag a picture into a spreadsheet and move it around, resize it , etc. I CAN'T. I could do this is Exc...

Sounds like a good approach Jay. Keep us updated on the system you put together. I have received other folks suggestions of using other brands of keyboards and monitors in order to keep costs down.

Is this still available? You mention all software has been updated. What types of software are included? For example, is Microsoft Office suite on it? If not, were you using some other software for documents/spreadsheets etc.

I just checked my Safari preferences>security>fraudulent sites and I also have the yellow warning triangle and it say,s "The Google Safe Browsing Service is unavailable. No updates have occurred in 88 days." Why do I have the warning? I have never seen anything pop up about Safe Finder on my compute...
