Re: WANTED: Apple Mini-DVI to VGA Adapter

I think I sold all of my older adapters to MacTraders. Try giving them a call.

I do have a nice Mini Display Port to VGA Adapter Model: A1307 that I can part with though. ;)

iPhone X "Emergency" screen

An interesting unintended consequence of using Face ID on the iPhone X is that the "Emergency" feature located on the passcode screen (see screenshot) is now not easily available to you ... since just looking at the lock screen unlocks the phone and passcode screen is bypassed! The only way to use t...

I'm eager to test the iPhone X camera. I guess we'll probably have some good weather by next June.

Re: iPhone X Setup

I found that I had to turn off "Raise to Wake" (in Settings > Display&Brightness) when I discovered that my iPhone X would wake from sleep whenever I got out of my recliner!

Re: iPhone X Setup

Here's a question I haven't been able to track down definitely: Is the side button (on the right side) a real button or a virtual one (with or without taptic feedback)? It is the same type of real button that is on most iPhones ... no feedback. It is, however, a little bigger and a little lower tha...

Re: iPhone X Gesture Guide

As shown in the video, many of the iPhone X gestures require swipes from the very bottom of the screen. For that reason I modified my Griffin Survivor Strong case, cutting off the bottom ridge. Using gestures is much easier now! ;)

Re: ApplePay

I have used Apple Pay at Walgreens, Starbucks, and McDonalds ... all in Sequim. Works great using either iPhone or Apple Watch. ;)
