Re: Change Time Zone WITHOUT iPhone

Interesting question. I can't check that because I have a 3 without cellular.

Change Time Zone WITHOUT iPhone

Is there a way to change the time zone on my Apple Watch (watchOS v5.0.1) without using my iPhone? I don't always take my phone with me when I travel and it's awkward in different time zones trying to remember to add or subtract a certain number of hours. On the watch itself, in System Preferences/T...

Re: Customizing Login Screen

I haven't done that on my iPhone nor iPad but I will. That's a great idea, Ray.

Re: Customizing Login Screen

My guess is that if a thief starts up the Mac and sees that it has to have a password to get in, the Mac will end up in a trash bin somewhere. But maybe an honest person will find it and call me. Or maybe I'll do something stupid and leave it in a hotel room when I'm traveling and the person who fin...

Customizing Login Screen

I have customized my login screen so there's a message at the bottom when my Mac is booted, either a cold boot or a reboot. The message states my name and phone number and asks anyone seeing the login screen to please contact me because the Mac has either been stolen or lost. Fortunately that has ne...

It would make even more sense if "Purchased" was in the sidebar !! There is lots of room.

Agreed. That's where I looked for it and when I didn't find it there I was perplexed. Sometimes I wish I had direct access to the Apple software designers so I could ask, "Why did you do it that way?"

Found My Previous Purchases In App Store

Before upgrading to Mojave if I wanted to download an app I'd already purchased I just opened the App Store and one of the headings you could click was labelled as previous purchases. That might not be the exact label name but it was obvious that's what it was. After clicking the label all my previo...
