Thanks Jay! Great offer! I picked up a FireWire 400 to FireWire 800 cable at Mac Traders yesterday and was able to connect all of my drives. I ran DiskWarrior 5 on them all, recovered files that had been missing and am now transferring all data to a new backup drive. I sure do appreciate the good an...

Thanks Stephen,

I failed to mention that I do have a display with one FireWire 800 port. I have one external LaCie drive with an 800 connection, but the others are FireWire 400. Can these two be connected?

It's a fine day, above ground, vertical and ventilating! How does one transfer data from older LaCie external firewire only hard drives to a usb-only macbook pro (OS X 10.11.5)? iPhoto Library Manager

After years of using a MAC and iPhoto, I have several iphoto libraries with thousands of images. Has anyone used iPhoto Library Manager 4.0.6?

I am hoping to put all of my iPhoto Libraries onto one dedicated external hard drive.

Any thoughts on this or of a better approach?
